What fees does KeyChain Pay charge?
We only charge a transaction fee - and it's super low!

Is paying rent online safe? Do you store my credit or debit card information?
Yes. KeyChain Pay mobile APP and Web Portal are PCI-DSS certified (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards), and data is subject to bank-level security measures. Learn More.

KeyChain Pay doesn’t store the original credit or debit card numbers that you use with us. And when you use credit or debit cards, your transaction involves (i) the authorised token in the case of Apple Pay or Google Pay, or (ii) the last 4 digits of your credit or debit card number.
Why do you need Tenancy Agreement?
Understanding who we serve for and the purpose of using KeyChain Pay is vital to detecting and deterring fraudulent use and abuse of cards as well as money laundering. Please upload the Tenancy Agreement and stamp proof.
How to pay rent for Public Housing?
Rent payment for Public Housing is supported on Mobile App and Web App. Monthly application is required for now.
Can I change, add, or remove payment methods?
Yes. Please manage your payment methods in our Mobile App or Web App.
Can I adjust the rent amount?
Yes. Please adjust the rent amount in our Mobile App or Web App.
Can I extend or terminate my Smart Contract?
Yes. Please extend or terminate your Smart Contract in our Mobile App or Web App.
When do you charge on my credit or debit card? Can I set the charge date?
Our AI decides the charge date for you. The AI algorithm predicts the most appropriate charge date so to ensue rent is arrived on time. The charge date is about 7-10 days ahead of your monthly leasing effective date. We do not allow any manual set up on the charge date.
Can you let my landlord know when the rent is transferred?
Yes. If the landlord's email address is provided in your application, we will send a notification by email to the landlord when the rent is transferred to the bank account. You may log in to our Mobile App or Web App to check the estimated or the latest deposit date.

What if my credit card does not have enough limits?
When paying with us for the first time, we put a hold of your rent together with the transaction fee in your account to reflect the payment. To make sure you have enough credits available, please settle any outstanding balance or contact your card issuer to increase your card limits before application.
When shall I submit the application?
Please submit your application 10 business days before the leasing effective date to ensure sufficient time to process transactions and deposits.

How do I confirm how much I earn on my credit or debit card?
You can check through your bank statement or mobile banking app, or contact the card issuer for your rewards entitlement.
How to start using SPLIT?
Just three easy steps:
Step 1: Select "Payment Method".


Step 2: Select 2 or 3 cards for SPLIT.


Step 3: Set split ratios for each card.

How many payment cards I can use to pay?
You can use up to three cards each time - feel free to split with any of your credit or debit cards to pay.

We do not support Apply Pay and Google Pay for SPLIT at the moment.
Can I earn rewards on all payment cards?
Your rewards are subject to your card issuer's terms and conditions. Please contact your card issuer for rewards entitlement.
Is there any limit on rent amount for SPLIT?
The minimum rent amount on SPLIT for 2 cards is set at HK$10,000 or above on Smart Contract, while SPLIT for 3 cards requires a minimum of HK$20,000 or above.
I have a running Smart Contract. Can I still use SPLIT to pay my rent?
Yes. You can add another payment card on your exiting Smart Contract before the next charge date.
How to calculate transaction fee for SPLIT?
Our rates remain unchanged! We charge on a pro-rata basis, for example,

Rent: HK$20,000,
Payment cards: 3 Mastercards, Transaction fee: 2.1%, SPLIT ratio: 5:3:2,
So the transaction fee is only at a total of HK$420.

● Mastercard 1: (20,000 x 50%) x 2.1% = $210
● Mastercard 2: (20,000 x 30%) x 2.1% = $126
● Mastercard 3: (20,000 x 20%) x 2.1% = $84
